SIOUX RIVER SPORTSMEN’S CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
There are three types of memberships at Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club (SRSC): Family, Business/Sponsor, and Law Enforcement. Fees for all types of memberships are subject to change at any time.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP – $100
Family Memberships may be purchased by any individual at least 18 years of age who is legally allowed to own a firearm. The membership applies only to the member and, if applicable, their spouse or dependent(s) under the age of 18 who are listed on their membership application and live with the member. Spouses and dependents may only be on the range when accompanied by the member.
A RFID card will be issued to all members to unlock the gate and provide access to the range. All members must swipe in and swipe out any time they arrive at or depart the range. This policy still applies if the gate is left open by another member, or has been left open because of a public event or other range work is being done. Violation of the swipe in, swipe out policy may result in suspension of membership.
A valid email address is required for membership at Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club. If the email address given by a member is found to be invalid, the member’s card and membership will be suspended until a valid email is provided.
All members must complete the Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club online range safety class, or attend one of the monthly range safety meetings held March through June, within 7 days of purchasing their membership. If the class has not been taken, or a meeting is attended within 7 days or purchase, the card will be shut off and membership will be suspended until the class is taken or a meeting is attended. Cards will not be reactivated until an online class or in person meeting has been completed. It may take 24 hours or more for the card to be reactivated after completion of the online class or meeting. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Family memberships may be purchased from any store that sells SRSC memberships.
Family memberships expire one year from the date it was purchased. A new membership must be purchased after the previous membership has expired and a new card will be issued.
If a member loses their card, the original card will be deactivated and the member may get a new card and will be charged a fee of $10.
BUSINESS/SPONSORSHIP MEMBER – $300-$500
Business memberships may be purchased by a business that is related to the firearms, archery, or outdoor industry. The membership applies only to employees of that business when performing duties related to that business. It may not be used by employees on their personal time. Business memberships cost $300.
Sponsor memberships are the same as business memberships, but they include the posting of signage on the property in thanks for purchasing the sponsor membership. Signage will be provided by the club. Signs may feature the sponsor logo, business hours, and contact information. The club will have final approval on all signage.
Sponsor and business memberships may have up to five certified members under them. Each of those members will have their own card under the membership. If a certified member’s card is used, that member must be present when non-certified employees, clients, or other associates are on the property. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of membership.

DAY PASSES
The club may open the range to the general public. Day passes for individual nonmembers cost $15 for adults 18 years of age and older, $5 for anyone under 18 years of age, per day and are only good as long as a range officer is present. When the range officer leaves for the day, the club is closed to nonmembers and anyone who purchased a day pass must leave. The day pass would be valid if another range officer arrives later in the day to reopen the club to the public. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
GUEST AND NONMEMBER POLICY
Guests and nonmembers are not allowed on the range at any time.
Nonmembers are only allowed on the premises of the range during events which are open to the public, or during hours when the club is open to the public with a range officer on duty.
Anyone allowing a nonmember on the range, except as allowed, will result in immediate termination of their membership. There are no exceptions to this policy.
THIRD PARTY EVENTS, CLASSES, COMPETITIONS
Club facilities may be used for events, classes, or competitions if approved by the club board. All attendees of such events must pay a $15 range fee. The fee will be collected as part of the entrance fee for the event and then paid by the organizer to the club in a lump sum. The organizer must make the payment to the club on the day of the event.
Anyone wishing to hold an event at the club must present a written proposal to the board. Attending a board meeting to explain the event and answer questions from the board is recommended but not required.
Certain types of events, such as youth shooting sports, or outdoor education classes may have the range fee waived at the discretion of the board. For-profit events, regardless of type, are not eligible for waiving of range fees.
SAFETY AND BEHAVIOR ON THE RANGE

Vandalism of any club property will result in termination of membership and a report filed with law enforcement. Vandalism includes intentional shooting or destruction of buildings, vehicles, trailers, signs, target stands, stage props, tables, benches, or any other club property, or property belonging to any organizer of any event held on club property.
