USPSA Range Officer Class April 17, 2021

Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club will be hosting a USPSA Range Officer Class on April 17 – 18, 2021.

This class is required to become a certified range officer (RO) in USPSA.

The class takes place over two days, taught by a NROI instructor. Saturday April 17 will be classroom learning about the rules and how to run shooters through a stage and maintain safety. The second day will be on the range practicing running shooters through a basic stage.

Cost of the class is $65. Click here to register for the class.

In order to take the class you must be a USPSA member and have a classification. To get a classification you must have at least 4 classifiers stages shot in matches for your initial classification. If you want to take the class, but are short on classifiers, register to shoot in the February and March indoor matches put on by Sioux Falls Practical Shooters at Garretson Sportsmen’s Club. Register Here. Space in these matches is limited.

SRSC or Sioux Falls Practical Shooters will reimburse you the cost of the class once you have passed the online test and are officially certified. (Both clubs will not reimburse you, one or the other is happy to.)

More certified RO’s helps our club for USPSA matches but also other area clubs.

Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club is also pleased to be hosting the 2021 USPSA Great Plains Section Championship on July 17-18.
